The testimony sounds like just another attempt to get Trump and those in the upper echelon of the military once again. Captain Nick starts his testimony with his support and respect for the Capital Police. He is ignoring what we all know about the Capital Police and the FBI's role in their "insurrection".
Smells like another cabal attempt to derail their enemy, Trump, to me.
He may not be aware of the corruption in the police department or know of FBI’s role. He has only been on the job for two days? Very new.
I missed the cap police statement. Good catch. The Capitol police are not neutral participants. The party in charge gets to decide who is hired and who stays. It's a political appointment, just like the pages and the garage attendants. Everything on the Hill is a political appointment. Everything.
