That kind of post does nothing to help anyone! And any black-Americans who come here are going to just come away with a reason to think conservatives are just a bunch of racists!

While you're absolutely right, I also think that people shouldn't care about optics anymore.

Also, black folk in decent communities are as generous as anyone else in those same communities. It really is culture more than skin color. I think people would be surprised how many are seriously getting tired of being infantilized too.
