Either, some people involved high up in running sports are blackmailed and flipped, which is likely because sports is sometimes used for deepstate comms. Or they're not blackmailed and Q asked them to do it. Either are likely, and who on earth would say no to the military asking you to help and be part of the greatest military operation of all time?
