Something like 15 years ago, Peter Schiff (of EuroPac) went on CNN or NBC or something for an interview.

They talked for three hours, he felt like it was a really good conversation. Then the “interview” comes out and it’s a 5 or 10 minute hack job meant only to do reputational damage.
