I was always skeptical of him because of the Oprah connection but one thing he has always done is strongly warn people NOT to become involved with Child Protective Services or the "state." He always said they are not on your side and their ideas of "protection" may differ from yours as a parent and many children become lost to the system.

PS saw him on Joe Rogan lately - was a great episode
