If they make SCOTUS declare Trump is immune, then Trump walks from all his cases. Begins numerous Election interference lawsuits. Popularity increases. Election can't be stolen due to number of votes.
If they make SCOTUS declare Trump is not immune, it opens the door for Trump to reveal the sting operation and allow the Military Tribunals to start. If Trump isn't immune as President, then no one else is either. The protection that the Clintons, Bushs and Obamas once thought was there, would be removed.
I think they will rule at least part of actions while president immune. We don't need no immunity to deal with the Bushes, Clinton's, Obozos and Biden's. Their crimes against children will cover all that
I hope they say he's not immune - then it would extend to all politicians, right? So this may be part of the Plan to set precedent that former politicians can be tried for crimes committed while in office.
Technically it seems like this should apply even to administrators/bureaucrats/government employees who overstep their constitutional bounds as well. Correct? I mean, it's the ultimate check and balance in a way.
maybe the show script has them splitting the baby and rule that a president is immune from criminal prosecution except for those which rise to the level of treason and/or crimes against humanity
I think I get the play:

I would hope.
