I get the impression some people are more interested in just finding something to be outraged over and don't mind fudging the truth on a topic to be able to do that.

That is the unfortunate consequence of this board's comparatively large size: we are at the point where we have a sizeable population of emotional users who are more into farming karma and clicks and up votes than to do any serious research and analysis.

As of the late, I have been seeing more and more low effort posts whose purpose is to farm upvotes and points through emotional reaction. I fear for the future of this forum.
