Just FYI anyone can spoof a phone number, including short codes, and send a text from that number.

I laughed when someone spoofed my own number to try to scam me once.

That scam call center employee was not the brightest one.

That’s why it’s important to check the URL/links in the text of the messages and make sure they either go to:

donaldjtrump.com (sometimes with “47” as the subdomain, so: 47.donaldjtrump.com)

Any winred.com site that takes payments for:

“Trump National Committee JFC”
