there's a reason why some of these black rap stars ever became stars and its not talent....there's a reason that certain actors get many parts while good actors get none...there's a reason why bankrupt companies give out golden parachutes to losers.......there's money going around and its probably all our tax dollars that seem to just disappear.....
I remember this with Amy Schumer a few years back. She was so awful in everything but the ads for her movies and stand up just kept showing up everywhere. I knew she was related to Chuck Schumer and then suddenly it was so obvious what was happening. She had been born into one of "those" families, taken them up on the opportunity to join the big club, did the rituals, etc, and so the machine went to work giving her fame and fortune, except she was such absolute trash and so many people were waking up and developing standards that she flopped no matter how hard the machine pushed her. I feel like she was just the perfect storm to make it obvious how it all works.
