Where something is blatantly wrong, illegal or evil and the evil deed is ignored completely for some strawman argument - and you sit there in shock at the utter audacity of the situation, wondering how the hell the elephant in the room is being ignored.

Mass formation psychosis? It's way more than simply "gaslighting" - it's a definite pattern or some kind of nlp technique... Right? The more ridiculous the lie? What's it called, besides total bs?
