Israel has the unofficial Carte Blanche from it’s Islamic Neighbors to handle affairs in the Gaza Strip. Given they haven’t acted beyond stern finger wags about the bombing campaign and any threats about accepting potential resettlement efforts.
The only Islamic Countries which really seem to give a Damn about the Palestinians beyond generic PR Humanitarian statements and aid packages. Are Qatar, and Iran. Both of whom are known to furnish Hamas and various other Islamic Fundamentalist groups with Money, Military Equipment and Advisors. Not to mention shelter the Leadership of aforementioned groups.
Somewhat ironically the People who seem to be the most bent out of shape and Angry about events in the area on both sides are White Westerners. And the Palestinians for obvious reasons
I also remember Palestine in my childrens Bible in the early 80s. Had maps and pictures in it and i spent the entire sermon looking at animals of the levant and historic tools, as well as the maps.
