God's promise to the Jews who worship Moloch and the star of their god Rephan is exile.
Acts 7:43 "And you took up the tabernacle of Moloch and the star of your god Rephan, the images that you made to worship them; and I will remove you beyond Babylon.'"
This, as quoted by Stephen was a history lesson and a reminder that they had not always followed God's law. Later in this very section it is pointed out that godly Jews buried him.
