I have a feeling that the new Republic will be called The Republic of the United States of North America and will include much of Canada. Canada should have joined us in the War of 1812 instead of fighting us.
Not just that. Imagine Cuba as our 51st state. Imagine Canadian provinces AND Mexican states joining the USA 🇺🇸 for the same reasons eastern Oregon and Washington want to join Idaho.
Im not so sure about Mexico. They have their own identity and language while Canada and the US are very similar.
There has also already been discussion on what would happen if Quebec ever actually left Canada. The Maritimes would almost have to join the US. They would be completely isolated by Quebec from the rest of Canada and can not survive on their own. Ontario (maybe BC) is the only province other than Quebec that could act on its own as an Independent entity but they would be land locked (they do have a route to the sea though through the Great Lakes/St Lawrence Seaway). The Prairie Provinces I think would love to join the US but only if the current situation is fixed. BC probably not. Quebec maybe joined with Labrador may try to go it alone.
Leadership in Canada would join the EU before becoming part of the U.S. The thought of Canadians being blessed with the 2A scares the crap out of them.
Do the Canadians have a Q movement so their citizens can take back their government?
...I don't know about the "Q" movement, but they have a Trucker movement...
...doggy winks...
They’ll need to get their military involved.
...that is a slippery slope indeed...
