I have to admit. I don't understand the mounds of mounds of Scott Adams hate that I always see. Can anyone summarize? He took that vax that Trump took and regretted it? kinda like Robert Malone did? and Elon Musk and Dr. John Campbell? and maybe some of your own family members?
Is that the whole gripe with him?
It wasn't that he took it and regretted it, it was he took it and preached from the mountain tops that everyone else should too, then when shown evidence to the contrary, to his credit he changed his mind, but said stuff like anti vaxxers got lucky, or even idiots are right sometimes kind of language. That's why he gets the hate. He's no different than any other talking head grifter. Like said above he's a social manipulator. He says what he thinks his audience wants to hear.
He lost a lot of followers when he spent like 4 hours trying to prove Q was a larp
He isn't saying what his audience wants to hear in this video. The vast majority of the American public is still stuck in 'muh chosen' brainwashed mode.
While I agree that many are brainwashed, I would argue that those that follow Scott and his awakening are in agreeable with him, therefore he is telling them what they want to hear. You think his primary audience is evangelicals?
Do you believe it is only evangelicals that still believe in the 'muh chosen' being God's people?
I hear it all the time from all segments of society. Even here in woke land you hear it constantly.
His audience isn't "the vast majority of America". His audience is center-right leaning folks who do not trust the government and tend toward believing that the powers that be lie in ways that are unimaginable. He is saying what his audience wants to hear. Perhaps he had a legitimate change of heart, but that shift likely was aided by the fact that it aligns with what his audience wants to hear.
Even here where folks are supposed to be awake about half are still head over ass for the 'muh chosen' so it doesn't make a shit which segments of America are in his audience since all segments of this society are still brainwashed when it comes to the Jews.
I think he may actually be waking up. He had some good commentary before the pandemic, and then just lost a lot of following with his position on the vax. He eventually started to come around and it feels like it’s genuine and not pandering.
For what it’s worth, I think this is a very public example of what you’ll experience with most people who took the vax as they wake up. It will be a series of steps starting with “ok, maybe I shouldn’t have taken it, but I did what I thought was right and you guys got lucky in your choice” and ending with “the entire system is filled with corrupt murders and we need to burn it to the ground”.
