Despite some oddly specific details about the number of ballots and even the room number copies were made in, but no mention of the town or the person who did this, I can't find any of these "news sources".
Yeah, I looked into this and it appears to be fake. The real story is that some election official sent a bunch of fake absentee ballots to the house of some Republican as a troll or something.
This happen in my home state. An election official wanted to prove the system had no security, so they made up three names and Social Security numbers and applied to receive military absentee ballots . Three ballots arrived, so this official sent them to a Republican legislator and said, "There process isn't secure, here are three absentee ballots for NAMES I MADE UP".
