I'm so sick and tired of this fucking worn out statement. Social Security is NOT, I repeat NOT going to run out and anyone with half a brain can figure that one out. The young people of today are working and paying in to the social security that the seniors are partaking in and that cycle will continue forever because if a politician, any politician whether demoncrap or republican, attempts to cut Social Security, the seniors will not hesitate to vote against them. And that is it plain and simple. Don't buy into their fears. God has this under control.
Insolvency is projected in the 2030s. You are correct that anyone who cuts benefits will get voted out, but that's not the issue. The issue is that Social Security is based on numbers, and the numbers aren't working. There is more money coming out of Social Security than there is going in. The cycle will only continue forever if the same number of people pay in vs. get paid out. The baby boomers are starting to retire, and birth rates have been dropping dor decades.
I do agree with your last two sentences though. I'm not worried about the future, because God has it under control.
The number's never truly worked out from its inception. Social Security was doomed to failure before our politicians ever enacted it. The "numbers" used to justify the merits of the system were fantasies, and lies.
The opponents of the Social Security system knew the real numbers, and history has proven those people to be correct- SS is failing right along the timeline originally predicted by opponents of the system. It is an economic ticking time-bomb scheduled to detonate within the next ~20 years, or so.

I'm certain that is why Whitmer and Cuomo killed as many as 10,000 and probably way more. That is my opinion.
