Only an act of god aka major storm/earthquake can truly bankrupt or come close to it for an insurance industry aka car and home insurance.

Even then there are mechanisms in place at the State and Federal level to mitigate the burden for the insurance industry.

The health insurance industry has never faced an "act of god" in modern times so how can they have "razor thin margins"?

Exactly they are full of it.
