Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evolving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Yesterday I attended the funeral of a good friend of many years. He was the victim of horrendous medical malpractice, but he's finally at peace after many years of physical and mental torture. A good guy who was incredibly based.
I've heard the song, Amazing Grace, performed many times, but it was the third verse that really struck me:
"Through many dangers, toils, and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home."
My buddy didn't make it, but we're almost there, frens. Hang in there. God bless
Such a sad story. Hard to understand why bad things happen to such good people. The only peace those that loved him will have is knowing the suffering is over and now he is resting in the arms of Jesus fully whole.
God bless you and your departed bud, my fren.
Thank you. He was a big Trump supporter and devout Catholic. His faith carried him a long way. I was blessed to know him.
I lost a friend to this c19 jab genocide early on, SADS, dropped where she stood. While painful to lose a dear friend, it was also infuriating and served only to steel my resolve. The realization of the colossal scale of this evil is life-altering, certainly, and the clarity that this needs to be eliminated is fortifying to one’s soul.
Thank you for your kind words of encouragement.
I’m sorry for your loss, anon. You were blessed to have had this friend in your life and the mutual love and respect you shared together will last for an eternity. May the Lord take your compassionate friend into His loving arms as He welcomes him into His kingdom. 🙏✝️
I’m sorry you lost your friend. It’s bad enough to lose someone and the sting of knowing it could have been prevented is even worse. My husband’s friend of over thirty years died two years ago. He survived Covid but needed a double lung transplant. Was doing really good after the transplant and got the vaccine. Two days after that he died. He would have gotten the vaccine even if they didn’t pressure him. He believed he got Covid because he wasn’t vaccinated. He got Lyme disease in July and in October got covid. His body was weakened from Lyme. There’s so many tragedies like him and your friend. It’s senseless and pure evil!
Thanks, anon. I’m sorry to hear about your husband’s friend also. So many cases like this, likely in the millions WW, of trusting souls who truly believed they were doing the right thing, never were caustic towards anti-vaxxers even though they disagreed. My blood turns to ice when the vehemently pro-vax people in my circle tell me of their myriad health issues, health issues of their children, deaths in their family and friends. They refuse to listen, scoff when I tell them it’s from the jabs. They have to have their tell-a-vision say it or they just block it out. Btw there was a post here recently about Lyme, perhaps also a bioweapon. Let me see if I can find it….
Carlson one was two days ago, but there are several before that.
Lord, please deliver us from this evil. ✝️🙏

Thank you. Yes, I was incredibly lucky to know him.
I’m sorry for your loss. Loosing someone is incredibly difficult! It’s a small comfort when someone has struggled so long and we know they are know longer suffering. Amazing Grace is in my top favorite hymns.
Thank you for your kind words. We're all here at this time in world history for a reason. I believe my friend was here not only because of the compassionate work he did in his life, but to also throw a spotlight onto the horrors of modern medicine. Without going into a lot of detail, his was not the result of just one bad doctor, but a complete and total systems failure. I'm ready for the shift.
You’re welcome fren. I’m ready also! I believe in trying natural medicine when possible but sometimes it’s not the answer. I’ve had my share of bad doctors and been fooled a lot. I became aware of doctors failures when I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia after three years of going to every type of doctor around, physical therapy, massage, chiropractors etc. Now I know fibromyalgia is a trash can disease. They diagnose you with it when they don’t know what’s wrong. Modern medicine is a damn joke! Sure it saves lives for things like sepsis and appendicitis or other sudden illnesses. I’m very thankful for ECU healthcare saving me last year. I was septic from a kidney stone blocking the urethra. Didn’t have a clue I had a stone. Anyway prayers and God’s grace to you and the family.
