These people are entirely slaves. They may have killed her and the kids as offerings to try to stop what's coming or maybe she ran and got in a Russia submarine to hide until the storm passes... we're probably not going to find out until the credits roll or the sequel to this movie comes out.
She developed a drug problem and was in rehab...She had a mental breakdown because of the stress if dealing with those "damned kids"...She was there the whole time and just wanted to be left alone/was never "missing"...She was visiting the half breed in Canada and evaded paparazzi...

I never really followed the "royals" because I never really got "it" - and never took an interest in them, aside from maybe Diana when she was sacrificed. Anywho, I didn't even know she had cancer... and I'm wondering now if she got the super turbo cancer from the olde jabberooni... and subsequently died. With no opportunity ripe enough to warrant the distraction, they've got that little tidbit on ice until one crops up... and since England is really the mofos behind everything unholy and evil, I'm sure they'll get a chance to at some point.
