Yes it's a coincidence. Unless you believe someone had the previously unheard of mystical power to literally predict the Dow Jones Industrial Average half a decade in advance.

IMHO coincidences are far more abundant than they're given credit for, thanks to confirmation bias, which makes them look exactly like planned reality
