The turnout was still impressive, and I'm sure NJ overall is much more red than it's shown, but generally, the further inland you go, or the closer to Philly to the West and New York to the North you get, the more repugnantly blue it is.
I can't even imagine. and wonder what it is that draws people to those populated areas? I've been east of the Mississippi less than 5 times. the energy level was very different! was so happy to get back to 293 miles of straight driving; wasn't made for all signs/ roundabouts;)
The shore line is not a Democrat stronghold.
