Military police deploy to Guantanamo Bay
MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – More than 100 Pennsylvania Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 28th Military Police (MP) Company, 165th MP Battalion, 55th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, 28th Infantry Division departed from Harrisburg International Airport (HIA) ...
They’re heading to Fort Bliss first for additional training. Which is curious as the MPs job is fairly straightforward in a Prison setting.
I’d imagine most of their training will amount to the standard “Don’t talk about anything you hear or see or we’ll throw your ass in with the Prisoners.” Spiel for anything or anyone classified they might spot at Guantanamo.
And maybe special Security Concerns if any of the other rumors pan out.
Guantanamo Bay is divided into multiple compounds. Camp X-Ray is the highest security section being used for only (as far as the public knows) to house a handful of 9/11 terrorists. They may be going for routine annual Guard training.
The unit will be conducting detention operations for the Guantanamo Bay prison. These operations will include the management, oversight and staffing of the prison's facilities. Responsibilities primarily involve ensuring the secure, humane, and orderly confinement of detainees and inmates.
IF I recall properly, this battalion is the battalion assigned to GITMO on the regular.
For years they have been rotating through Gitmo. Not new
They’re getting it ready for any patriot that claims the election was stolen
