Gen X here. Perhaps I'm biased, but I know very few fellow Gen X'ers that haven't been awake for a while.

As to this video, the man is clearly emotional, though I don't equate emotion with awareness. The man clearly still has a long way to go and I heard no endorsement for Donald J Trump at the end.
