We are watching a movie. The heroes journey is playing out right in front of us. We are nearing the end. The hero is trapped in the basement. It looks hopeless. The audience wonders how he is going to get out and save the world.

And then he breaks his chains and miraculously escapes. He saves the world.

It had to be this way for optics. A story has to be told to prepare people for the changes that are coming. To make Trump the hero, not the dictator.
