I think this is correct, here's why. 1st, it would explain why Trump has been holding so many early rallies and going hard at it. If he knew he was going to have to stop for the remainder of the race, it makes sense. Secondly, it takes the option of assassination off the table if he's at Mar-A-Lago until the election. Third, it's obvious election interference and will generate even more voter determination to go to the polls.
