The entire Story is about the Girl meeting one of her hero Journalists, and growing of Age, to the point she causes the exact conditions that kill her ""Hero""....
It isn't any deeper than that.....

It was white hat movie
I dont see it that way. The movie reeked of something (not so much liberalism, but something else i cant put a word to). How the hell can these press ppl not get shot or hurt that close to the gun fights, they were way in there taking pictures. Everyone is like hey its the press, come with us while we get shot and you are never harmed. A little girl first time in a combat zone pretty much manages to overcome the fear associated with war through a single road trip while a hardened press lady is crying and paniking in the corner. And dont get me started on the guy lol. Everything the left touches turns to shit, and this movie to me is leftist propadanda if it was even that.
I think the movie in whole was just a left leaning producers/directors idea, nothing more.
But everyone has their opinion and neither is wrong or right.
What about Obama’s one ? Left the world behind?
