I assumed he meant that he saw the hard-working firemen, police officers, blue collar workers at the local 7-Eleven stores getting a coffee or sandwich near where he worked or near the World trade center of which there are 3 right close by. But also, NYC has 548 7-Eleven stores, currently.

Thats spread out over five boroughs though. There were no 7-11's downtown @ 2001. I worked down there at the time.

I read somewheres that the guy who started 7-11 was a pedo. He names 7-11 after the ages he likes his girls…sick bastard. Something about his wife and the spelling of 7-ELEVEn (used lower case n because meh’)
