IMO, Space X is making NASA look bad. Look at all the taxes NASA spent and couldn't accomplish one tenth of what Elon has accomplished. Did no one at NASA even think about designing a reusable booster rocket?!
The government has given Space X $15.3 Billion dollars.
Ask yourself this question, how would "the government" congratulate Space X? "The Government" has almost three million employees. Who would do the congratulating?
I did a quick search and there are more than 50 press releases from NASA talking about how successful Space X projects have been and how much they helped.
Or, maybe look at a 2020 speech by Joe Biden where he started by saying, "I congratulate NASA, SpaceX, and all the hardworking women and men who made today a victory for American innovation and persistence."
Since 2020 Biden has positively mentioned Space X 36 times in speeches and press releases.
I think people write headlines and articles without even doing a bit of research and it makes everyone here look stupid.
Still, an official statement, or tweet, or something from the Whitehouse about the success yesterday would be a reasonable expectation. Perhaps there is one that I don't see? But, isn't that frizzy hair WH press girl supposed to talk about stuff like this to the press?

NASA can't launder money if they have reusable booster rockets. 🙄
Bingo

Great comment
This! To me, that is what a half decent shill does.

She did. And he did. They just didn't put it out as a tweet. A simple search will find it.
To be fair - space shuttle had reusable booster rockets.
Think of ALL THAT MONEY they'd LOSE with reusable anything lol
