Because he's the one who posted it? If someone charges into a movie theater and yells fire and you grab him and ask where the fire is and he says, I was just kidding, should you keep looking for a fire?
Well, if the guy who posted the info is now back pedaling and saying it was 'Just a joke everybody!' Shouldn't we first verify that he is not, in fact, related to or friends with any juror? Or, a friend of someone who is related to a juror? I'm not ready to dismiss his claim without further investigation.
Re the yelling fire in the theater, if you later find that there was a full gallon of gas and a lighter found in the men's restroom after you evacuated everybody, you'd wish you got the guy's ID before letting him run out of the place!
That would be awesome if the 'alleged cousin of a juror' who posted the stupid comment ends up derailing the conviction by triggering a mistrial.
The guy who posted it already came out and said he was shitposting.
Sauce?
Just search his name on any browser. The guy has been on podcasts already talking about it, he talked to Hannity on the phone.
And we should believe him, because?
