I've boycotted Adobe since they went to subscription. Also Autodesk and anyone else that doesn't sell a permanent license. Zbrush was recently added to the list.

I get there are often specific tools you can't get in other packages... but so far I've learned to work around most of them.

Since I use highly specialized hardware, I can't just transition to Linux... although I really want to... Virtual Machine is a good way to get around a lot of the bs too ...
