The west has been having water wars for centuries. Always, in every case, there is some shady business going on in the background. If our country wasn't so lawless and corrupt, there may have been a judicial solution which could be worked out but the deck is stacked against the farmers. The governor should step in and provide a temporary reprieve to save the harvest and answer some questions. How much land does Bill Gates own and is he connected to the non-profit? How much geo-engineering has been ongoing in the region and for how long? How many species are being "protected" by procedures that waste water? Who is going to get rich off of the farmers plight? Honest investigative journalists could do good here, but there aren't many around these days.
