BOTH sides reject God in Christ, and the ultimate conclusion in that is that they have chosen death and war and strife, not the peace of the Lord. Know Jesus, Know Peace, is not just rhetoric. If you are a Christian, if you do not deny HIM as the messiah, just stay out of this struggle between unbelievers. It's a zero for us.Yes, we can have compassion and pray for them to come to know and accept him, yes, we can pray fervently for the babies and children to somehow be saved and grow to know Christ. As a Christian, I would take in anyone found at my doorstep who was starving or injured, it's my nature to nurture, but I would not leave my home to go and parade about over two armies of Christ deniers as they hate each other. There is no charity or mercy outside of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I get on my knees everyday to thank God for the mercy that comes through his son, to me, a sinner. That is all those warring people have to do, and yet they still reject. I have read that the only thing I can do is shake the dust off of my feet, and move on.
