Amen. That is why I keep all the old stuff I can. I never followed shiny objects and didn't want to pay for them. Like front loading washers I see at the curb after 3 years... On and on. I never had any headaches. My husband fixes everything too. I remember growing up having one iron one toaster one refrigerator until I left home!

Ps I purchased a dumb TV when my TV from 2009 broke. Best Buys insignia brand is half price of a smart TV and was shipped to my door in 2 days. I had to go to Best buy to buy it. Just hooked up my TV antenna and Roku.
