The gospels were written by people who witnessed Jesus’ life, within their lifetimes. They weren’t written hundreds of years later.

And why do we blindly trust a bunch of old men in long robes who decided what should or shouldn’t be in the official canon?
Jesus himself quoted from the book of Enoch. But it’s not included? Satan has been deceiving the world from the garden of Eden. And his synagogue has been infiltrating every human endeavor since the time of Jesus. God himself is removing the scales from our eyes and we are seeing the utter corruption and evil that exists all around us.
Arguing a point not made. The point made, as so eloquently put: AFTER certain events, without qualification. Of course it may have been meant to be said, but it was not.
