I know. I live near a good market that stocks from local organic farms, I am very lucky, even though Vermont is a blue state, those small farms are dedicated to organic and building good soil to grow in.. it costs more, but I can make it last by making my own soups and casseroles from real food. I can't think about eating 3 meals a day, breakfast is always eggs, (I raise chickens for eggs) or whole oats. Lunch is unheard of, I'll eat a cuke or an apple with some cheese mid day, and suppers are often soups or casseroles made with rice or potatos. Any cheap cut of meat can be cooked right, and adding onions and garlic makes anything taste well. Sugar is a habit, nobody is born needing a lot of it, yet it's a major commodity so they put it in everything to keep you hooked.
