We did it (create Mujahadeen) because we were locked in a struggle against the Soviet Union. - HRC
Nazi B*tch. That's who fights Russians - Nazis.
OK tell me again why the Soviet Union suddenly was 'the enemy'? "Oh they invaded Afghanistan" - sez HRC. (Looks at map - on the border of Soviet Union).
Googles: Why did USSR invade? Answer: To suppress the Mujahadeen uprising against a legitimately elected, but communist-leaning government (i.e. USSR-friendly) https://www.thecollector.com/soviet-ussr-invasion-afghanistan/
Wait a minute, the USSR were suppressing the Mujahadeen uprising? I thought Clinton said they created Mujahadeen to fight Communists/Soviet Union/Afghan government? Which came first? Are we still talking about Afghans? Looks like a proxy war to me.
So, in effect, the Soviet Union was reacting against what we now call a color revolution in Afghanistan (on their border), and attempting to help that government. They were there for ten years - to the great glee of those wanting to weaken USSR. You saw her rubbing her hands together and smirking at the fall of the USSR. USA was succesful!! And yes, the color revolution template also happened in Syria, Lybia, Iraq - oh and not to forget Ukraine 2014. It became a popular C-I-A playbook.
Um OK. something something USA invaded Afghanistan too, 'cos 9/11 (I never could quite understand how that incident translated to punishing Afghans and looks at map again - very far away from USA). mission failed after 20 years.
Oh and lots of equipment left behind this time - heaps more. The problem of leaving behind trained men and equipment that HRC claimed occurred when USA felt they were done fighting Russians, in a proxy war via the Mujahadeen, caused USSR to fail (USA was so hubris filled)- yeah that problem of armed groups just multiplied exponentially. Lovely Black market you have there.
