Windmills suck, BUT, there were no trees in the area in the picture to ever cut down. Fake news...

Right. Every windmill farm I've seen was like this....on a vast swath of prairie where there were never any trees.

While I agree this is a semi desert plains region, you have never been to mid Michigan. There are hundreds of windmills along US 27 between Lansing and Mt. Pleasant on farm and forested land.
