Not only that, but they cause drama in the workplace. My son worked with a black, former military, gay female who played the PTSD card. She couldn’t be “around loud noises and crowds” at work due to her PTSD, but no problem showing up at parties. She would ask to work remotely and then was found to be at the salon getting her nails done. Her hiring was pushed by a female superior in NY, even though she would not be working with her in the L.A. locale. Superior would not allow or consider hiring approval unless a female was hired. This loser checked all the superior’s DEI boxes: former military, female, gay, black. It took a lot of work to get this loser out of there, only to be hired by another major company who failed to ask or checkout references.
