And it makes their products more addictive and ensures repeat customers. Not to mention ensures constant Business for Big Pharma. Same reason the corporations shipped all the industry jobs overseas.

The Current way American Corporations and Businesses. Large and Small are structured. Actively incentivizes practices and behaviors actively detrimental to the health and well being of the general population. In pursuit of larger and larger profits. Seemingly in favor of some notion of infinite growth of profit margins.

To an extent we’ve been conditioned rather deliberately to not see anything wrong with how things are done here. Even though it’s actively harmful to us. And that it is somehow the fault of the consumer and not the companies and Businesses who are actively and knowingly harming them in pursuit of profits.

Much like we’ve been conditioned to regard anything that doesn’t in some way resemble an idealized version our current Government system as inherently bad, flawed, or somehow inherently tyrannical. Whether we are consciously aware of that fact or not.
