Maybe 1000 or 2000 years from now everything turns to dust again since we love self destruction so much, and the future people have to dig up and try to figure us out all over again. USB drives, hard drives, discs, none of those things will work and already disintegrated. Future may have to rely on actual photos if there are any left. Maybe better if leave text and images behind in the rocks and caves.
I like archeology for that reason. Think about it. We think we are so high tech with all our "advancements" yet what will be left of our homes or places of work a 1,000 years from now? Plastics and bricks? Our descendants will think we lived in our basements. Wood and metal stuff will be gone. How long will plactics be found? Will game pieces were somehow religous artifacts. Our landscaping rocks considered confusioning.
Somehow, I don't believe what people find will tell them much about who we truly are.
