Too bad Conservative Party is just the other wing of the same bird (Northern Uniparty). However, it shows that even Canadians who skew left have had enough of leftist policies.
Just for those inclined - the Canadian version of this place - "OmegaCanada" is run by a deep CPC shill, that is every inch the globalists the liberals are.
For instance:
Support for 15 minute cities... Yep, CPC supports it.
digital ID?? You betcha! Their deputy PM has promoted it, as has Pierre.
SDG? Of course, and yes they've signed on to all the globalists, WEF and UN treaties....
Liberals = CPC = NDP == Globalists. As I saw on X.
Yes but its still way way way better then the liberals. With conservatives at least we can keep our violent offenders in prison, we can stop the mass migration and hopefully take the gays and transgenders out of the political system.
No it isn't... the CPC ARE the Liberals, just with a sheet over their heads.
The CPC wants MORE migration, not less. That is why they are tying new housing to migration, instead of stopping it. They have no intentions of stopping it, as they have signed on to every international agreement that forces it on the west.
The deputy PM is gay, FFS.
With all due respect, you simply aren't paying enough attention.
They rely on us thinking, "at least they're better than the awful Liberals" and "hopefully ... " Just look at the facts. Liberals & NDP drag us closer to the cliff of destruction, and the Conservatives don't turn us away from it, they only slow down the acceleration.
Look, I may end up voting CPC if PPC or a new patriot party is not running in my riding, but I'm not expecting any "hopefully".
Yeah, but looking at the CPC platitudes it seems that the CPC are the liberals, merely under a different name.
Not unlike the RINO's in the States...
The two party illusion.
The CPC are the Liberals.
The Liberals are the CPC.
They both are Globalists, and signed on to all the same treaties, policies and agreements. Nothing will change, because nothing can change because Canadians can't see past the two party Illusion.
It was a lot worse when the conservatives had Erin O'toole at the helm - he was a closet liberal for sure. Polievre is different but he still to stand account with his new base when he takes power. If he gives in like the G. Melonis I'm hoping it would be difficult with the amount of Canadians paying attention. We will have yet to see, but I think he deserves a shot and undo the damage the globalists have done.
I always said I would not vote in a Federal election unless I was personally threatened, and let's just say i'm voting this time around.
A couple of areas on immigration reform, killing the crippling carbon tax and parental rights would go a long way - but this doesn't mean I trust him. He would need to be held account when they take power - and the people are the only opposition since the liberals need to be burned to the ground before they can serve as meaningful opposition.
The costs of another election won by the liberals is too high.
He isn't killing the "Carbon Tax", his "axe the tax" wording is only for 1 aspect of the carbon tax, and AFAIK only for farmers and only for heating.... Its just another con.
And we know this, because the CPC signed on to all the same agendas that mandate it.
And they refuse to remove Canada from said agendas.
The Liberals and the CPC are just the two sides of the same coin, conning Canadians thinking there is any difference.
Hence .... we have a constitutional crisis .... neither side is viable. The parliamentary system has failed ..... so you need what?
A new constitutional that dissolves the old one? An elected government who's job it will be to dismantle the current corrupt system? So .... a constitutional revolution?
Too bad Conservative Party is just the other wing of the same bird (Northern Uniparty). However, it shows that even Canadians who skew left have had enough of leftist policies.
Yep, and most Canadians are blissfully unaware.

Yep, more migration keeps the wages low for their corporate masters.

Yes, everyone I know here is putting all their hopes in Poilievre and they can't see it's just going to be another 4 years of the same...
By-elections are what Canadians call special elections, where a vacated seat needs to be filled.
Time to get rid of Castro's bastard son.
I'm still in shock - I expected it to be a photo finish but the toronto liberal cult goes deep.
Yeah, but looking at the CPC platitudes it seems that the CPC are the liberals, merely under a different name.

What makes you think Pierre is any different?
He has promised quicker, direct flights from India.. for gods sake.
A globalist isn't going undo a globalists mess, he's signed on to all the agendas, including Agenda21...
Do you remember his wife's "Stay the F home" during the covid plandemic, which he also sat on his hands for...

Canada is in the midst of a constitutional revolution and if it isn't.... God help us
It isn't... this is just voting for the other side of the exact same coin.
Hence .... we have a constitutional crisis .... neither side is viable. The parliamentary system has failed ..... so you need what?
A new constitutional that dissolves the old one? An elected government who's job it will be to dismantle the current corrupt system? So .... a constitutional revolution?
How many sides are there?
The vast majority of CDN's, think 2.
Which is the problem, and rewriting or redoing any piece of paper will not change that.
It isn't a constitution crisis as much of a human awareness one. IMO.
Canada just lost to Trump (FL Panthers) last night too.
If anyone wonders why this isn't in "conservative" omegacanada.....
The conservatives banned me during the federal election for talking about Christia Freeland's Ukrainian grandpa, (helped fight the russians in WW2)
Yep, Hammy is a hamster.
inb4 elections canceled and now dictator for life? XD
I have some Canadian lib friends. I bet they are crying and sucking their thumbs.
