Add an Aussie, I've been totally disgusted that the Australian Gov have never stepped in to help Assange. He didn't commit any crime other than provide a portal for whistleblowers to reveal crimes. Whistleblowers are supposed to be protected under the USA law yet Assange 's biggest "crime" was to show American military involved in war crimes. So they chased and harassed him for near on 20 years, yet as far as I know of the actual people who committed the war crimes have never been brought to justice.
