I went on the carnivore diet and my cholesterol went up to 390. My doctor wanted me to go on statins. I decided to change my diet instead. I ate fish, beans, salads (everyday), vegetables, fruits, a little cheese (cause I like it). No grains, nothing processed, no refined sugar. I drank two cups of matcha tea every morning and also took 2 Bergamot capsules and 2 Omega-3βs every night. After 4 weeks my cholesterol went down to 290. Doctor still wanted me to go on meds. I told him Iβll test again in 3 months. Also, I never exercised during the four weeks and I lost 5 pounds.
