I was diagnosed with a 70% blockage of my LAD and it seems I got Pericarditis from an autoimmune issue from the Gulf War in 1991. It did not become bad enough to notice until recently. Now they are telling me I can't go Keto or Carnivore..........
Still trying to figure out where to go from here.....
I want to go back Keto and Carnivore though.
I'm no doctor but I'm presuming they are basing their advice on the established medical guidelines, which are bullshit... let me guess they want you on a diet full of "whole grains", "healthy starches", low fat high carb lean meat vegetable oils etc
If you go pure carnivore and combo with some fasting (16hrs +) I'd bet that your issues become much better. But as always listen to your doctors. (but do some research on your own too, and consider finding a doctor who is informed on the recent discoveries around nutrition!)

I went on the carnivore diet and my cholesterol went up to 390. My doctor wanted me to go on statins. I decided to change my diet instead. I ate fish, beans, salads (everyday), vegetables, fruits, a little cheese (cause I like it). No grains, nothing processed, no refined sugar. I drank two cups of matcha tea every morning and also took 2 Bergamot capsules and 2 Omega-3βs every night. After 4 weeks my cholesterol went down to 290. Doctor still wanted me to go on meds. I told him Iβll test again in 3 months. Also, I never exercised during the four weeks and I lost 5 pounds.
