But as I understand it now, Biden has the 3,000 + delegates assigned at the primaries, plus all the campaign funds. I don't think those just automatically transfer, so I am very interested to learn how this works. Maybe they would transfer in the event of a death, but if the candidate were to simply say, I changed my mind - I'm giving my delegates and money to the new guy -- well, could they even do that? Let's both look into it more and then compare notes!
