Well, Zelensky is having a coke-dream. He is omitting the existence of Russia. But he properly understands that Biden will be toast in the upcoming election, and, with that, his protective umbrella will be turned inside-out and he will need a fast exit from Kiev. He therefore needs a last-ditch fig leaf for Biden to approve while the president still has the power to quaver and tremble to the minions attending his every grunt and wheeze.
