Ok. Did a little research on this too. I see they removed the heating element on dishwashers and opted for a cooling fan to condense water from dishes into the tub, thinking it would drip down to the drain. Doesn't work well with new polymers and plastics being used on cookware and utensils. Works better if using stoneware or metals because they retain heat to evaporate the water allowing it to condense onto the tub. Now I know! Thank you!
Yes, they removed the heating element.
Also they reduced the pressure on the water jets/pumps.
All to 'save the environment', mandated by the Obozo-era EPA.
