Holy Father, we say « the left can’t meme », but then I did not realise our people could be so good at it without even noticing. Our friend u/Tweety51A recently mentioned how she makes « cards/scripture/quotes of encouragement » for her daughter that she passes out to some women jailed with her. Isn’t that also memeing? That works by both giving our friend a purpose and her daughter as well as her companions much Hope and Serenity. I praise You for inspiring Tweetie to make this ordeal such an interesting Faith-building opportunity for everybody.

AGENDA

Today we celebrate the First Martyrs of the Church of Rome.

The First Martyrs of the Church of Rome were Christians martyred in the city of Rome during Nero's persecution in 64. The event is recorded by both Tacitus and Pope Clement I, among others. They are celebrated in the Roman Catholic Church as an optional memorial on 30 June. The Orthodox Church celebrates them on 30 June in its liturgical calendar as pre-1054 East-West Schism Western saints.
