All the motor vehicle bs is rooted in the uniform commercial code (UCC), the same ones responsible for your precious building permits etc.
Okay... but why? Because the INSURANCE COMPANIES set the rules and the laws, because their actuaries calculated that if they don't crack the whip on speeders by writing tickets and issuing points, they're going to be paying out more often...
Same with structural aspects of buildings, wiring, plumbing (fire and flooding) etc
Now let's talk straight...
I for one don't want to be driving behind some jerk off in a lifted Ram diesel rolling coal at every light, nor do I want to be in a building that could collapse in a snowstorm because it wasn't structurally sound.
There needs to be a happy medium here... because people are generally stupid AND cheap. Hopefully the states fill in the gaps, but now I'm wondering if we created a monster with states filling the power vacuum.
It's Useless, Confusing, and reads mostly as probably being Arbitrary, and may be Internally Invented, so the New SCOTUS Ruling may vacate the whole thing....
I'd bet that just about every challenge put to any part of the UCC has or might have been, met directly by the Chevron thing, especially so they could arbitrarily gain another Win from their Confusing rules....
Even within the State Govts own ""laws"", they have parts of the UCC, so those should also be vacated....
Legalese is the Language that the Founders intended for us to Speak as our Common Tongue, but WE are way too stupid to comprehend anything past Me, I You, and sometimes haha....
Our Founders left us a Republic, under which a Meritocracy operates in the Direction of the Flow of Capital for all of us via Contract Law....
We are supposed to know and speak Law, and yet, none of us do....

Says it isn't federal... interesting... gotta dig deeper but 💤💤💤 soon.
I'm all for ANY law/regulations etc that can't be read and understood by a 4th grader...complex legalese is how all this crap started to begin with.
