But this is not too much of a problem. People will simply move to a freer state. Intact it creates a competition between the states and also let us see for ourselves how different policies stack up against each other

Yeah 10 years ago I'd agree. Now? Pfft .. you've got NY and CA people moving and importing their politics to red states in droves. It's a real problem in many places. They want all the benefits of "low insanity" rural life, but they're bringing their bs with them. C19 exodus really kicked this bs into high gear. Places like TX put up billboards essentially telling people from blue states moving there to literally leave their woke politics where they came from.
